General Journal Entries
General journal entries are use to enter each transaction of
business into an accounting system.the increase
or decrease of amounts and by what amount the transaction is entered.
1st click on task in peachtree menu bar.
Then click on general journal entries.
This window will appear .
In this window you can see
Date : at what date you make an entry
Reference : in this you add the reference on entry .
GL account : in which you add the entry for what general
ledger account entry made.
Description : add the description detail about entry.
Debit : add what amount is debit.
Credit : add what amount is credited.
The debit
and credit amount should be same.
Job : for what job you add the transaction
Click on save button.
